I have been following the ongoing saga of the Liver Transplant program at UCI and one thing just struck me: This is the same school that has had alumni actively fight a law school.
After this boondoggle, UCI will see their fair share of Attorneys and lawsuits.
If the doctors can't take responsibility and run a program the way it should be ran, then they don't deserve to practice medicine. "Do no harm" was obviously skipped by the UCI medical program when they formed this program. It ranks right up there with the egg donation scandal and the cadaver scandal that has also rocked the UC medical program.
UCI needs a law school, as it will protect the patients at the UCI medical center from the UCI Doctors.
